Is there a way to eliminate or improve stretch marks?

I have stretch marks in my butt and I've been reading about how eliminate them but some people say yes is posible and some people say no, so I don't really want to try something that is not going to work. 
If is yes, please comment your method

I've been using Emu oil for about a month and it has reduced the size and colour of my stretch marks from pregnancy.. Im also taking collagen tablets to help re tighten skin

I don't know that you can ever remove them, but there are products and things you can use to lighten the color of them.

You can reduce their appearance through moisturizing and some exfoliation over time, but they are essentially scars that cannot be completely removed.
