sharp pelvic pain normal?

I'm 30 weeks. and the last few days have been having sharp pelvic pains now and then. but they hurt. is it normal?

Yes. I don’t remember what it’s called but it’s your pelvis loosening up and preparing for birth. For me it hurts most when I get up out of a chair or out of bed, or if I try to do anything one leg at a time (like putting on underwear or rolling over in bed). It usually hurts right in the middle of my pubis but sometimes it’ll extend between my legs all the way to my tailbone and I move like I’m really stiff which scares anyone who sees me hunched over. 😂 I’m like just give me a minute! I’ll be fine!
