So I’m on the pill. I started my 7 day break and got a 3 day light period but then I forgot to start it after the 7 days and went another whole week with out taking it 🤦‍♀️ me and my SO had unprotected sex a few times but I’m just concerned.. should I just wait till I get my next period to start a new pack ?

first of all the pill takes 7 days of consistently takeing it for it to become safe to have unprotected sex, second of all the most dangerous time to miss a pill is right before or right after your sugar pills so I would recommend a pregnancy test if you missed the whole week right after your sugar pills. once you have taken a test, preferably 2 and they are both negative you may consider restarting the next pill pack, however also be aware that pregnancy tests taken early after conception are not always correct (so a doctor's vist might be best) and if you are pregnant or your test come out positive than discontinue use to avoid causing harm to the baby or yourself. goodluck
