How long after starting a new job would you ttc?

I just started a new job that is wonderful but we were about to start ttc. Would it be appropriate to continue ttc or would you wait to become more established in the position?

I’d check what the maternity leave policy is before TTC. If you get maternity leave after a year then I would wait a bit.

lol! I am going through the same thing! But my job would be seasonal. My husband even told me that he changed his mind and wants to put it off for a while. *face palm*

Depending on what country you live in, you don’t qualify for any maternity benefits unless you work there a year. 98% of companies in the US have this policy. Also the rules for FMLA

I think it depends on the job. My company which I started working for in October gives you maternity benefits from day one. A friend of mine who works here started in November and is due in February. I would just see what the policy for the company is!
