How do you deal with family members having a cold and being next to your baby??

Hello everyone, I have a 6 month old baby girl. Which I always try to protect to the max, because of course she is little. My husband side of the family tend to always get sick (cold) and when they do I try not to take my daughter over because I don’t want her to get a cold. I have been criticized, and now when they get sick they don’t tell me. They know how I am and they are doing this, I believe to bother me cuz they know how I get. 
What do you think about this situation... do I have hw right to be upset or I’m just over reacting ?

I wouldn’t take my baby to someone’s home if they were sick. I’m an adult and I try to avoid sick people so I’m definitely going to try to protect my kids! Don’t feel bad about it!

If I know someone is sick I try and keep my daughter away from them. She’s 2 now. Still do this. Sounds like your family is full of assholes. To be quite honest. You may be overly sensitive, but they are absolutely wrong for not respecting your wishes as the baby’s mother and actively trying to hide their illness from you. I’d lose my mind and flip out.

I don’t let people that are sick by my baby.  And if I found out they are sick after being by my baby I mean about it.  Like you could have said something. I will be very mad if he gets sick.  Thankful lo has not gotten sick.  I would stop taking baby around them if they can’t tell you if they are sick of not.

My husband’s Nina came over with her two sick twins when my son was three weeks. I was fucking furious, they came from 50 miles away. I only let her see my son, not the twins. Although I know the germs were on her.... screw that. Don’t be like me... I was so mad..

My son is also 6 months and his half brother got sick, and kissed him while he had a fever. He is 4, so I was afraid to push him away and hurt his feelings.. 
Guess what happened ???? My baby got sick. 😩
He suffered for a little more than a week, right now he is still recovering, and somehow that baby managed to make my life miserable.. wouldn't stop crying, wouldn't get off my lap, did I say he wouldn't stop crying? Lol anyways... I'll tell you something... I do not care who's feelings I'll have to hurt, crush, smash... I am not going through this again for trying to be nice lol 🤣
Get away from sick people and protect your baby, feel bothered if people don't respect your parenting because you're the one who'll deal with the sickness, not them so it's up to you to decide if you want to expose your baby or not. 
Family members are always the worse 🖕🏼

Drives me nuts. My SIL is really unhealthy and always has “allergies” but somehow I get her “allergies” too. Pregnant btw.

I WOULD BE LIVID. 
I’m the same way (15week old) and I stay away from anyone who is sick. It’s just common sense. My in laws are really great about telling me when they are sick. 
I would stop going over there completely if it was me. 
Also, I carry a huge hand sanitizer with me and make everyone put it on when we get there. Just in case. 
I know my baby is exposed to germs everywhere and I’m okay with that. It builds her immune system. But it’s flu season. No need in risking it!
