Weird Tooth Order?

My son has been super cranky and my husband noticed he was pushing at his cheek and chewing on one side so I risked a finger to check and his gum was SUPER swollen in one spot. But it's the molar spot so I'm wondering if his tooth is really coming in or something else happened? He's 10 months and I've got a picture labeled with the teeth he has. 1&2 came in at 4 months, 3 was 6 months, 4 were all by 8 months. Now he's almost 10 and 5 is where he's swollen? Is this normal?

Normal and they take forever to finally come out.

Yeah that’s the way my daughters came in. Those first molars come in before the canines that fit between them and the main 4 front teeth.

This is just a guideline, everyone is different those molars are next on the eruption pattern so it’s normal

Yeah this is not a for sure order. My kid got his bottom two, 1&2, at 4 months. Now he's getting the outer tops (4s) at 6 months. My sweet little vampire. 😅

Mine has the same order as yours, just pushed out the lower molar on his left side and the one on his right is coming through (the front-most molars, I mean). And even if the order is “wrong” not much we can do about it lol 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Normal look at the months it gives you molars can come first but they take a REALLY long time
