my mom crushed up a cigarette and ate the whole thing (paper, filter and all) on top of a salad with chocolate syrup dressing when she was pregnant. My mom doesn't even smoke, never has in her life.

I wanted to eat sponges with my first baby! Told my midwife that it apparently means you’re anaemic and she didn’t have a clue and when my baby was born I was very very anaemic had to be on iron tablets for 6 months!
