My husband was fired from his job recently, but had another job in the same field lined up. He did not tell his new employer that he was let go, but they caught wind of it because his previous employer and one of the new employers sales reps spoke with his former boss during a sales visit and told the sales rep that my husband was terminated and talked trash about him and gave the reasons why he was let go. Last i knew, that’s illegal. Now my husband is blacklisted from the local trade because he was afraid to tell his new boss he was let go. Yes, there are hurt feelings on my husbands (and mine) end, but..... could this be a lawsuit?
