Makena shot!?

Anyone have any experience with the Makena shot? Dr didn’t really give me any risk factor or possible side effects to it... going for my first shot soon I’m kind of nervous and scared after reading the reviews online!!! 😭

I asked on the ovia pregnancy app, since I'll be starting makena next week. Everyone said that it worked like a miracle and the only side effect they mentioned was a bit of pain at the injection site.

I just had my first Makena injection on Wednesday. It wasn’t bad at all. So far, the only side effect has been a little burning and soreness at the injection site.
