My little girl is 4 weeks old and has a cold. The Dr told us to take her in the bathroom 4-6 times a day and run the water to get steam because she has a stuffy nose. He said to sit in there with her and then put saline drops in her nose, suction it out and then feed her in the bathroom while the steam is on to help her be able to breathe while she eats. But this is my third day trying this and every time I feed her she spits almost all of it up. Is it just too warm for her? I don’t have it to hot I didn’t think, and I keep the door cracked open but i dont know why she’s spitting up all of a sudden. Has anyone experienced this or have advice? Thank you in advance!
