Nursery with bed in it?

Hi ladies!
My husband and I live in NYC where space is precious, and although we are lucky to have a 2 bedroom apartment, I really would love to keep the queen size bed we have been using as a guest bed in the nursery. I am struggling to envision how it can still look cute for a baby. If you don’t mind, I’d love to see your pictures! I have definitely been all over Pinterest too :)

I made our guest room into the nursery and decided to keep the full size bed in the room. I pushed the bed against the wall and will be decorating the room as though it is just a nursery. My husband and I chose to keep the bed in the room for not only guests but for me to able to sleep in the same room as baby when she is older and fussy not to mention our normal bed is waist high and i may not want to literally climb up into bed after I have her so I have more than one option of sleeping.

My husband and I were trying to figure out the same, we live in LA. We taped our in the floor where the crib, changing table and bed would go but ultimately decided it would be too tight. We decided to swap the bed for a daybed which can be used for guests when needed and also I will use it as a place to nurse and will purchase an ottoman so I can put my feet up. I just didn’t want it to look so cramped! Just got the daybed today but have a lot of work to do in the room still!

also live in NYC and had the same issue when we had our first.
ultimately I decided to make the room a nursery (as it was going to be where he grew up and couldn't be cramped forever). but, instead, I purchased a really nice queen air mattress.  the kind that folds up quite small when not inflated, but actually has a sort of box spring and really good quality mattress when inflated.  it wasn't cheap, but it worked well and was so worth it.  for the 3-4 times a year we had guests, it was more worth it to have a nursery (including a space to play, nurse, read, and baby sleep) without feeling cramped all of the time.
