CD1... Cycle Buddies?!

Today is CD1! 
This will be our fifth month of trying. I feel like we are doing everything right, but we aren’t having any luck yet. I am 30 years old and I worry we waited too long, although I know we haven’t been trying as long as many people have. Why in the world did I think it would happen right away? 
Anyway...
Our friends and family don’t know that we are TTC. If it happens, I wanted it to be a surprise for them. But now I feel like I don’t have any girlfriends to share with and chat about this all with! (My husband is great, but looking for an additional outlet!)
Any cycle buddies out there?!? Want to be encouragement buddies?! Lol ☺️

We're almost a cycle match! I'm just two or three days ahead of you. Also 30. High five, age sister! My husband and I aren't exactly officially trying. He's always wanted kids, me? Not as much. It was almost a deal breaker for us a few years ago. So, I kind of dream of being one of those absolutely nerds who completely surprises their spouse and video tapes it. Cliché I knoooww! Fingers crossed this is your month!!

How is everyone feeling? I’m having some pretty bad cramps and I’ve been bloated the last couple of days 😓

I’m back to negative OPKs. My four positives were 1/15 and 1/16 at 12pm and 6pm (CD 11 and CD12). The middle two being the darkest positives. I tested twice today (CD13 at 11am and 4pm) and they were negatives. So I guess my lh surge was  about 30 hours or so? Does that seem about right? 
BD on both CD11 and CD12. Will try tonight as well. They say ovulation happens 12-48 hours after first positive so I can assume I ovulate on CD12 or CD13?!? Used preseed so I hope this is my month!!

The bottom two tests are from today (CD11)! I feel like the bottom is for sure positive (6pm). And the second to bottom (12pm) looked very positive when I took it too - it is just faded now. If these are accurate, I definitely ovulate several days before Glow predicts! Tomorrow is my first green fertile day in Glow.

How are my cycle buddies?!? I’m using OPK for the first time this month. I started them early because I want to ensure that I’m not ovulating early or something. We will see how close Glow is to the correct date! This is CD 7 and 8. (Negatives as expected). Glow predicts I will ovulation on CD17. The kit said I shouldn’t even start testing until CD13 based on cycle length. But like I said, starting early this month to cover all days. Will narrow next month if necessary. I’ve heard stories of other women ovulating super early in their cycles and not knowing so we will see!! Baby dust to all. Hope everyone is doing well while they patiently await their fertile days!
