What can I eat from Chinese food places as a vegan

I called the place to ask if brown sauce its vegan. They said yes but the internet says otherwise

I go to Buddhist vegetarian Chinese restaurants! Then you know they are respectful of your diet and everything is vegetarian at the least.

I married a half Chinese man... let me tell you if you go to a real.. now I mean real Chinese place that has the duck in the window and chicken feet on the menus you have reach vegan heaven. You think I’m kidding but I’m not. They mostly eat all veggies dishes! If you don’t want the sauce have them put it on the side. Dim sum was had for me to go to but my husband always found a way for me to eat vegan. Tofu is good but if you can venture into all there other veggie dish then you will be fine. Or make your own at home. That would be your best bet.

I'll trump the previous post and say the likelihood of any truly vegan options with any restaurant that is not "vegan" in its media will be difficult to find. My suggestion would be to Pinterest or google easy vegan Chinese food to find one that suits your cravings. A lot of Thai establishments where I live offer vegan options. Perhaps try Thai?

Our local Chinese restaurant has several tofu, veggie and rice dishes (they often call tofu bean curd). Almost every place I’ve been to will at least make you some stir fried veggies.
Due to the high sugar and oil content, it’s a bit of a treat for us, but Chinese is usually easy for us to eat.

It probably depends on what they fry the  rice in. Honestly, I think your best bet would be to go to a chain restaurant, like panda express, they probably are more catering to the vegan/vegitarian lifestyle. For other places You could explain when you order your vegan and they might be able to help you. Or you could look up recipes on pinterest
