Ok so I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about 4 months now and he basically never compliments me. I am also always the one that compliments him and plans the dates. The physical aspect of our relationship is fine, and idk sometimes it seems like he doesn’t even like me. But why would he continue dating me if he didn’t? Am I just being over dramatic?

Honestly yes it does matter because it’s important to her & if that’s what makes her happy in a relationship I don’t see why wanting that from someone is wrong.

i’ve gone through this, the guy has to try their best to make u feel loved then once u start complimenting them and loving on them it seems like they stop, stop acting like u care for a little bit and then he will start again

sounds like he has just gotten comfortable. I would let him know that you love being complimented and that it makes you feel secure in your relationship. another thing to help remind him to compliment you is to have moments where you go like "don't I look great in this!" It's totally normal for him to forget to give you verbal compliments because he probably thinks it's obvious he finds you super beautiful 😊
