do nipple piercings hurt???

My friend is getting her nipples pierced and i think they’re cool but i get goosebumps every time i think about how painful it would be lol. So if u have a nipple piercing pls tell me if it hurts

I think it all really comes down to your pain tolerance.  I have 7 piercings, two in each ear, the cartilage in my left ear, my right nostril, and my bellybutton. Out of all of them, my ear cartilage hurt the most and my bellybutton hurt the least.  In fact, I barely even felt my bellybutton being pierced! I have a high pain tolerance so my piercings weren't even that bad.  I couldn't imagine getting my nipples pierced, it's just not for me.  But the best you can do is just breathe in and out slowly and focus on other things besides the piercing while it's happening.
