ease my mind? measuring small

So I ended up in the ER last night because of a fever spike (turns out I have the flu). But while I was there, they did an ultrasound. based on my LMP i was supposed to be 7 weeks 5 days. but the baby was measuring 6 weeks 6 days. heart rate was 148 bpm. is this normal? has anyone measured this far behind and had a healthy pregnancy? thanks in advance y'all

I went in for my 8 week scan and was told I’m measuring 7 weeks... hoping for the best too fingers crossed 🤞🏻

My first scan was 8 weeks according to lmp. It measured 8 w 2 d. The next scan was exactly 7 days later and the baby only measured 8 w 4 d. I FREAKED OUT. I’m sure it’s marked that I’m a crazy person in my chart somewhere. Then on my 12 week apt baby measured exactly on point with lmp. I think the babies grow at their own pace sometimes, just like little ones do when they’re born.

When I had my first scan at what I thought was 12 weeks and 4 days, I was told I was measuring t 11 weeks and 4 days. And since then she’s managed to jump ahead of herself and she’s now measuring 4 days ahead of the original measurement. Happens between scans to be honest, babies grow at different rates. As long as there is a nice heartbeat, I wouldn’t worry!

My last pregnancy I measured two weeks behind at my first scan (I thought for sure I was going to lose the baby), but now she’s a healthy two year old sitting right next to me! This time my son keeps measuring ahead so I feel like he’s going to be a big baby! If there was a heartbeat, don’t worry. Just feel better!

If you ovulate two weeks after period, it’s possible baby would appear smaller than you think you are. So I wouldn’t worry. ESP with a good strong heartbeat !

I heard as long as the baby is healthy (bpm) you should be fine. It’s a guess on the machine and you could have implanted later or  ovulated  later. Mine measured 3 days smaller then my known ovulation she told me it’s nothing to be concerned about.

My growth scan pushed my due date back a week from my LMP calculation. BUT my baby still ended up coming three weeks early (nice and healthy).
