Ring Trick Old Wives Tale?

Has anyone ever done the trick with a ring and a strand of hair to “tell” the number and genders of your children? You place your wedding ring or a ring you wear on a strand of your hair, go around each of your fingers and then dangle it over the palm of your hand. If it swings back and forth it means girl, circle means boy. When it stops it means no more babies. My sisters both did the test. My first sister with 3 kids got girl, boy, girl, boy. It’s right so far and says she’s having a 4th child, a boy. Then my second sister with 2 kids did it and got boy, boy, boy, girl, boy. So far it’s right because she has 2 boys. My MIL did it and got 3 boys - which she had. My mom’s was right, so was my Grandma’s and my cousin’s. Another cousin of mine did the trick and it said no babies for her and she hopes that isn’t true because she is struggling to conceive right now. So I did it and it said girl, girl, boy, boy. So far that’s right too! I have 1 girl and 1 girl on the way. Anyone else done this? It’s freaky accurate for us so far haha. And you don’t even have to be pregnant or have kids to do it.
