If I have sex, my period most times size, pls what should I do?

Mines takes longer to I was taking provera 10mg for 10 days for almost a year but my dr took me off them last month and put me on another pill to help me get pregnant I post to start my monthly today but I haven’t started hopefully my period don’t stop again or I hope I am pregnant if I don’t start by the end of next week going call my dr tell him these new pills ain’t working .
