I asked my boyfriend for $400 to get my lights on at this new place I got for me and our daughter. It’s $400 because I have no credit. He told me that “why do I need it now, I wanted to hold my whole check until next time” he said “how is benefiting me? It’s only benefiting you” I just asked for it 8 days in advance of what we originally planned. Mind you he makes $2,900 everytime he gets paid I make around $850. This is the first time I asked him for big money. Then he texted me because I didn’t want to all anymore because he made me feel like I was wrong for asking.

UPDATE; this is his baby also, we’ve been together almost 3 years and I paid $2000 to get into the house so I asked could he pay the $400. We don’t live together anymore because of his cheating phases. So this is us working it out
