Would you break up because of opposite sex drives?

I’m 27 and my SO is 33. My drive is much higher than his. I often feel like sex is a chore for him, we both want kids but I feel like I’m the only one craving intimacy. We’ve been together for a year and nothing has changed. My physical needs are never met and I’m constantly frustrated.

I’ve always said I️ could never settle for someone that can’t or won’t please me sexually. For me, sex isn’t THE most important thing in a relationship but definitely in the top 3. It’s a no go

i think ur partner needs to learn that sex is an important part of a healthy intimate relationship and he needs to look into ways he can help himself feel aroused again. at 33 they are experiencing a huge drop in sex drive if anything. 
talk about it, have him ask a doctor, offer up ways to help him get in the mood. porn, bondage, etc...

Depends.. you have only been together a year.. it’s a little early for things to get stale. I would try to talk it out and tell him you are worried you are not ultimately going to be compatible. People don’t really change but they can compromise if the relationship is worth it to them.

I don’t really like having sex. It feels like a chore for me! I do it because I like to satisfy my man and it’s not that big of a deal but when he’s done, I’m done! I don’t need to finish. I’m over it. Let’s just lay together. I find that much more pleasurable lol so no I would not leave him and I hope he wouldn’t leave me over that! But if you’re not happy then that’s your business. Do what you want!

Same ages as me and my partner and we had the same problem a month back, been together just over a year and ttc. I ended up speaking to him about it and helping him understand my needs, he has made a lot of effort since then and he is taking ttc just as seriously as I am. Speak to him let him know how you feel, if your considering having children with him surely you can both work through it a little give and take both ways
