A second time C section question...

I just had my daughter a year ago and found out I’m pregnant again. I’m almost positive I have to have another c section. My first was absolutely terrible. It was an emergency, I had to put “knocked out” half way through because I couldn’t control my shaking, I was reaching at my belly and screaming and I didn’t even know I did any of this stuff until I woke up in recovery with the baby on my chest. Anyways, I was scarred. Still am. So my question would be, is the second time c section, or scheduled c section easier? Are you more prepared? I have such anxiety thinking about it even though it’s like six months away. Thank you.
