27 weeks mucus plug, what could this mean?

It’s to early for labor. Has this happened to anyone? Clear mucus like vaginal discharge? Should I be concerned? No blood or brown spots just clear mucus.

Yes Veronica is right. I lost mine at 17 weeks and the doctor said it would regenerate. She said that the cervix can change throughout pregnancy which can cause you to loose the mucus plug. As long as you are contracting you are fine! I’m now 28 weeks and haven’t had any problems or lost more mucus.

It’s not *totally* normal...because it doesn’t happen to the majority of pregnant women, however, it CAN be normal for some. It likely means you have dilated enough to expel the plug, which probably means nothing. 
I lost mine at 29 Weeks (brown bloody too) and went on to 37+3 for that pregnancy, and this time I lost it at 11 Weeks!! Also brown bloody, and I’m still here at 36+5...and I’ve continued to lose it for the duration of my pregnancy, so it does regenerate to a certain degree. 
Just keep an eye on your symptoms, keep up your water intake, and call your doc if you experience any other signs
