How to get her to sleep?
So we have had to travel 8 hours back to back, with only a 3 hour break in between so about 16 hours straight. We left Saturday night at 11pm. My daughter is 1, almost 2. She finally fell asleep around 2am and slept until 7am. Then fell asleep at 10:30 am to noon. We left at 2pm for the second 8 hour drive. (Which turned into 11 hours due to stops) She slept basically the whole way, from about 3-4 pm to 12:30 am. She woke a few times to eat and be changed but went right back to sleep. We tried to keep her awake but she just can’t stay awake in a car. Well now here are, 1am and we are at our hotel (finally!!) and she’s wide awake. My husband has to get up in 3 hours to go to work and I’m pregnant and haven’t slept in almost 48 hours. (Can’t sleep in cars, I get extremely car sick) plus I’m high risk and supposed to be on bed rest but she’s up wide awake running and my husband has to sleep as he works a dangerous job. Is there any way I can get her back to sleep? Or should I just let her stay up? The reason I don’t want her to stay up is because I don’t want her up until the morning then finally crashing and sleeping all day. Plus, I need sleep. I’m literally going in and out of it. Any advice helps. I’m sure I’ll probably have to just wait until she finally goes to sleep and it’ll take a few days to get her back on her schedule but I figured I’d ask you ladies
