Almost leaving for school but my mom only preaches abstinence despite her not waiting until marriage. She was in a committed relationship and that was her first time - but she didn’t practice safe sex every time. Hence: Me. She thinks I’m gonna do the same thing, I guess? But my boyfriend and I have been together for over a year and said we’d wait till after high school. If we were gonna we would’ve already but we haven’t, so idk why she’s constantly lecturing me about it and I was curious about what others parents did/said. I just feel shamed for anything she interprets as sexual - whether it be the length of my skirt, shape of my shirt, or kissing my boyfriend. She even got mad at me for cuddling with him one time and said to save it for when we lived together? We were like what the fuck 😂
