1st birthday ideas?

So my son still has a little before he turns 1 but I'm just trying to figure out what times of food do parents do for there child's first birthday? and  any advice on throwing the party would be appreciated.  We have 2 family so I may have to throw two which I'm not looking forward to I really one to throw just one. But will will see what happens.

We’ve got a summer baby so if the weather cooperates we’re going to grill some burgers, hot dogs and brats and serve up some pasta salad, veggie platter, chips, water and lemonade!
She’s only 5 months old but yeah we’ve already discussed it lol

We had finger sandwiches, cucumber and carrot sticks, sausage rolls, crisps, cheese, cupcakes, reasons etc.. most of it our son could eat too and a few of his favs as it was his party! Lol x

We just had finger foods. Chips and dip, fruit, pigs in a blanket, mini quiches and popcorn, stuff like that.

We’re going to cater pops roast beef. They supply the beef, bread and peppers. And all we have to do is throw it in the crockpot to keep it warm. I’ll also have salad and side dishes made and some family members will bring some extra sides to.

I was totally thinking pigs in a blanket so that's great to know. thank you. I'm still very confused on what a baby can eat or will be able to eat at that age. my son is 7months at the monent.
