Finding out gender??

Question

Anyone here NOT find out the gender of your baby?? What do you prefer?? We were set on not finding out but now what I'm reaching my 20 weeks ultrasound I REALLY just want to know 😩 We wouldn't tell anyone though!!

We didn’t find out with our first baby and we’re not finding out with this one either. I couldn’t recommend it more! It’s one of the few big surprises you’ll get in life. And not knowing the gender helps you think big picture and takes some of the very detailed planning pressure off. You begin to look at purchases more practically - you’ll buy bedding and furniture and equipment that can work for boys or girls and so they’ll  also work for future pregnancies. Not knowing the gender prevented me from impulse shopping while pregnant. At my showers, guests brought me practical gifts instead of just clothes. We had plenty of neutral newborn onesies, and some people even brought a new gift of girl clothes once we had our daughter. You can still be just as prepared for your baby’s arrival not knowing the gender. It just looks a little different. It’s so fun! Plus you don’t have to try to keep a secret from anyone - like if you found out the gender but didn’t tell. I know I would accidentally let it slip! Haha. It’s also exciting during labor to know you’ll get to find out really soon!

I didn’t find out for my first and the moment was absolutely the best moment in my life to find out I was right in my gut thinking she was a girl! No better feeling in the world! So worth the wait! Just stand by your guns tell EVERYONE that you don’t want to know! My ultrasound techs didn’t even put down the gender in the records and my doc didn’t even know! I found out for my second so I could get the chance to do my pregnancies uniquely and have a gender reveal and whatnot. I agree with the commenter above buying gender neutral really helps with baby number two (it’s a boy) and we are already prepared!

I'm 25 wks and 3 days.  I've had about four chances of finding out my baby's sex but I stayed strong and told everyone at my OBGYN's office I didn't want to know.  We have a girl and a boy and this baby will be our last and I really want to experience the surprise at birth.  I am getting some pressure though, my friends and family want to know lol!  but I will not budge.

I’m not finding out. I didn’t find out with my first and now I’m not finding out with my second. It does get a bit harder just before ultrasounds to stick to that but it’s so worth it in the end.

I found out with my som and this time I want to do something different and wait. Need to still convince my husband though!!! He is the one who swayed me to find out last time! It will definitely take some will power but I am really committed to waiting this time :)
