Question about birthing position!

What position did you ladies deliver your babies in? I delivered my son while laying on my back with my legs up.. Which I found out after is the WORST position to deliver a baby in..

The day after I had my son I was VERY sore, VERY swollen, had a hematoma, very bad urinary incontinence for the first few weeks after delivery AND a urethral prolapse..😔 I was sore and uncomfortable for months after I had my son. I also still have painful sex and I still have the prolapse.. I don't know if it's all because of the position I was in when I delivered him?

But now I'm wondering, if I had delivered, say, kneeling or on my hands and knees, would I have had a better outcome? 😕
