does it just happen naturally?
my baby boy is 6 1/2 months. at his 6 month assignment the Dr said to work on his "problem solving" since baby scored a little low in that category. some of the activities are holding a toy for about a minute, looking for a toy he dropped, reaching for a cherrio sized object, and putting small food things in their mouth. right now my baby doesn't seem to like to use his hands too much, and I was wondering if there was a way to encourage him to use his hands more? right now he will put toys in his mouth, can reach for things out of my hand but then drop them, he can push himself up when on his tummy, leans towards things he wants to grab, but won't put food, in his mouth, and doesn't really like to use his hands unless he has to. as a first time mom, I'd just like to know if I just wait for him to figure it out, or if there is a way I can help him be motivated to grab/hold more things.??
