Monistat 1?

Question

I have a mild yeast infection, so I got the monistat 1 prefilled applicator. I used it, and right after, quite a bit dripped out but there was still some in. It's been two days now, and I am experiencing some relief, but I'm still really itchy and have a small amount of clumpy discharge. How long will it take to clear up? Should I do another monistat again after 7 days if it's not clear?

You are really lucky it’s mild. I’ve gotten like, 4 in my 19 years of life and they are so bad, i have to get a special prescription from the doctor. It’s in the form of a pill, but it’s works wonders. Extremely powerful stuff. Also, if you get an infection before your period, that’s also lucky because your pH system balances out while you are bleeding so it makes the infection go away all on it’s own.

You’re supposed to lay down and make sure it doesn’t all drip out. I think if it doesn’t go away you should just go to the doctors instead of doing another Monistat. Usually the 3 day monistat works really well also for future reference
