Which transition was harder for you guys? I truly don’t know if I can handle this newborn stage again and I’m just planning ahead.

Going from 0 to 1 is the largest life change. 1-2 isn’t that bad. You’re already in the thick of it. Everything takes 5-20 minutes longer depending on what it is. It’s really not a big deal. 2-3 complicates life, and you must be VERY structured and organized. Or you’ll go nuts. 3-4 is no biggie. 4-5 is another modest adjustment. 6...you’ll never notice the difference. It’s all the same 😂 No matter what you choose it’s an adjustment. Some additions are easier than others. 1-2 is a walk in the park. My life was a made for TV breeze 😍

Neither. From 1-3, since I had twins after my first. The newborn stage I think is the easiest. All they do is eat, sleep and poop. I always kept a chart that had guidelines on how long a baby is awake at certain ages so it was easy to know when my babies were tired. It helped I’ve always had easy babies with no colic or tummy issues.

They are 18mos and 3 now and everything is awesome. First year is a doozy though

Definitely 1-2 I’m a foster mom and I got my second placement when my first was only 13 months so I had a 2 week old and a 13 month old (with developmental delays) to balance

My youngest is 6 weeks and it’s been incredibly easy going from one child to two. Because I’ve done it all before so feel more confident with things and have learnt from the first time round, and already had a routine with the eldest so when my second came everything just slips in to place I guess. With the first child everything is new and you’re figuring things out etc...
