Put a week ahead (what?)

I just went for my 12 week scan and she put me as 13 weeks exactly, except when I go back and check that means I conceived on my period when I wasn't having sex... Confused, anybody have any idea whats going on?
Also heres my little baba ☺️❤️

I say take the extra week!!! Hahah even if it doesn’t make sense! Just be grateful, these weeks are going by slow...so if you got a free one, I’m jealous!! Hahah

no that means that your baby was large then 12,weeks. its growing fast. still concieved on the same day

They calculate pregnancy based on the start of your last period not when you conceived because most people can’t be sure when exactly that is.

Once you have an ultrasound they may change the due date because your baby is measuring bigger or smaller than average. It’s just a calculation based off the measurements they take.

this happened to me, I had a scan at what I thought was 7+3 but they dated me 7+6 and then another scan today which going by the last date they gave me id be exactly 12 weeks and they dated me 12+3. I'm taking it as a good sign that baby is growing and a good size ❤ plus skipped 6 days of the first trimester so can't be a bad thing 😂

My obgyn said it can happen if your baby is growing above schedule.

Same here!! They moved my due date to July 6th when I know for a fact it has to be July 11th or later. We only had sex once in October and if the due date is July 6th then I got pregnant before even having sex...
