If you have children close in age (2 years or less apart), was it planned or a surprise?

My daughter is 19 months old and for the past 9 months I have wanted another child so badly that it makes my heart hurt some times. My husband is so not onboard with the idea right now. My best friend is pregnant right now which is not helping at all haha. He makes me feel crazy for wanting children so close together. So I’m curious how many of you guys have children close in age and if it was planned or not. I guess to see if I really am crazy or not 😂

Planned! It took longer ttc than we would have liked but they will still be under 2. My daughter is 19 months and I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant. They will be somewhere between 22 and 23 months apart. 
I know it will be a hand full (sahm) but they will grow up close in age. They will have the same (age related) interests and grow out of each stage together. It will be busy at first but we wouldn’t have to “start all over” again like when I see big age differences. (Nothing wrong with that off course but just different)
We are not done having kids so I’m like let those first - sleep deprived, diaper devouring, teething terror, food and poop everywhere - years be over as soon as possible 😂😋👍🏻 Oh and at the same time I just love it and would do it all over again and again 💝

My kids are 16 months apart and totally planned(although with our 2nd we didn't think I'd get pregnant on the first try)! I am so happy we made the choice they are just the best kids and the best of friends!! Our house is an absolute zoo sometimes and it is never perfectly clean but there is alot of love and that is the best feeling in the world. It is definitely not for everyone but it works for us!!

my daughter's are 18 months apart.. it took sooooo long to get pregnant with our 1st daughter we started trying for number 2 when she was 6 months and BOOM first month I was pregnant... so it was planned but a HUGE surprise!! I wouldn't change the small age gap for anything!!!

I have a 16 month old and I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant! Both were planned. We started ttc baby #2 when my son was 6 months old. We’re probably only having two kids so I wanted them close in age. They will be 22 months apart ❤️

We have an almost 19 month old girl and I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant with a boy. Although #2 was a surprise I’m happy they’ll be close in age. Plus we’re done having kids after this baby so we have that to look forward to! No more pregnancies for this mama! 🙌🏼
