cyst on groin?!?

i have a cyst on my groin just outside of the vagina. i was examined 2 weeks ago and now go in for it to be removed this week. has anyone else had anything like this??

Possible TMI alert!
I did when I was a teenager. It got so huge and painful that I finally told my mom about it and we went to the hospital. They put me under and were going to drain it but then I guess it popped before they did it. It was so super painful before the hospital I could barely walk and even sitting hurt. They had to give me pain meds while they were figuring out insurance stuff.
Since then I’ve had them two or three times (it feels like a small lump when I wash my area down there)  but I catch it early and just try to squeeze everything out in the shower. I apply tea tree oil afterwards and maybe some neosporin. Just catch it early and drain it quick. It’s so expensive to do it at the hospital. If it gets too big then I think that’s your only option just because of the pain.

Hasn’t happened to me, but I work for a general surgeon that removes groin cysts from women (and men) pretty often!
