nipple piercings ??

okay so i got my nipples pierced a little over a year ago. everyday since i still get like the crusties around them. i shower regularly and i clean them every once in a while. i dont think they’re infected bc there’s no pus but sometimes they get that piercing smell if anyone knows what i’m talking about. can anyone help me out that has them or had them?? thanks!

I got mine in October and it still happens, honestly one of those things that happen even though you’re a clean person. My dermal piercings get the same way and I clean the area as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve had mine for a year, and I still get them. the best advice I can give you is do salt soaks, but then LEAVE THEM ALONE. They’re there for a reason, and I promise they’ll go away if you just leave them.

I’ve had mine since 2008. Just shy of 10 years. I still get this on occasion. A lot of women (even if you haven’t had children) can have elevated levels of prolactin. This can lead to leakage in your breasts and it will obviously be more noticeable with piercings then without. This was my doctors explanation anyways and I have a friend who is a tattoo artist/piercer who agreed. 
Nipples seem to take a long time to completely heal as well. Make sure you are still cleaning them properly and do a salt rinse on occasion as well as switching out rings in the regular.

make sure youre still cleaning them with salt water twice a day. nipples take a while to heal and thats why youre getting the crusties
