What are your thoughts on the Big Pharma conspiracy theory?

According to the Big Pharma conspiracy theory, the medical establishment in general and pharmaceutical companies in particular operate for sinister purposes and against the public good.

Proponents believe Big Pharma companies are doing things along the lines of

1. Tainting our public water with serotonin and other mental health drugs to keep the general population more complacent

2. Suppressing a cure for various illnesses and diseases such as HIV, cancer, MS, Alzheimer’s, etc. because it would put an end to very expensive medications being bought to “treat” these illnesses

3. Putting harmful chemicals in medications and vaccinations for experimentation purposes

4. Spraying and injecting our fruits, vegetables, and meat with drugs to create a sicker population for the purpose of “treating” more people with expensive medications
