My family always has parties on Sunday. My son's birthday happened to fall on a Sunday this year, so we are doing it the day of.

Olive’s birthday is Sunday the 14 but we are having her party Sunday the 21. We want to let her enjoy her day with Mom and Dad so she’s not crazy overstimulated on her day! Lol

Jesse's birthday is next Wednesday, so we plan to take him to dinner at his favorite place for his favorite meal (Cracker Barrel/biscuits and gravy) and have a small party the following Sat or Sun for him, when we have all our kids.

depends on the day. i always try and do it the day of but life doesnt always agree. my youngest will be one on sunday but her dad is on call that day so we are doing it the following weekend. in the 10 yrars ive been doing my kids parties some have been on the day sine have been later and some have been earlier. my 1st daughter is a christmas eve baby so her party with all of her friends is always after new years. this year we did a small famiky gathering on the actual day and did the dame for my middle daughter as well no big parties this year because the real treat is we are going back to fisney world end if may.

We’re doing it on the day of (next Friday) because it just ended up working for everyone. If it was a middle of the week day then we would have it on the following weekend.

My son's party was this past Saturday and his birthday was Friday. My parents, grandparents, my friend and several family members had to travel 1.5-2 hours so I thought Saturday was best. I feel like a lot of people are tired on Friday night and don't feel like traveling then.

My LO's is this coming Sunday, so we're doing it the day of. If it was on a week day, we probably would do it on whichever weekend is closest to her birthday. I personally like to celebrate as close to the date as possible ☺️
