Golden Globes and the all black attire

What are your thoughts on the celebrities who wore black to the Golden Globes yesterday in solidarity and in the fight against sexual harassment against women?

I saw this posted on Twitter and was wondering if any of you agree. Is it hypocritical of them to have stayed silent for years but are now showing support?
