Formula???

Question

So my son feeds every 2 hrs 2 ounces he’s 7 weeks and 2 days. How can I feed him so he won’t be hungry every 2hrs. It’s exhausting 😩 should I add a little more formula to keep him more full? Or what do I do?? I’m also a FTM.

You could offer 3 ounces and see how he does, if he spits up a bit then it may be too much still

How much does your little guy weigh? A good rule of thumb is to try to feed 2.5 ounces for every pound he weighs. So if he weighs 10 lbs, you'd want to try to feed him somewhere around 25 ounces per day. You're probably getting close to that total now. Like others have suggested, try feeding him a little more at each feeding.

My guy has eaten every 2 hours on the dot since day one (except for nights, he sleeps 9-9/10) he’s 16 weeks now.lol they’re doing so much growing, just go with the flow. If you try to make him eat more than he is ready for he’ll spit it all back up.

You NEVER put more formula than what you’re supposed to. Why do I keep seeing all you formula feeding moms trying to do this to your kids? SMH. 🤦🏻‍♀️ imagine if you actually breastfed 😂
