If i had an emergency c section so that mean i cant do vaginal birth?

Depends on your doctor and the hospital. Sometimes it once a cesarean, always a cesarean. I had one due to my son being frank breech and my Dr and the hospital she’s affiliated with will not allow me to try a vbac.

It depends on the reasons for your emergency c-section.
If it’s something to do with your body - then you’ll probably need another Caesarian.
If it was something to do with the baby (like breech or heart decels), you can probably go for a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarian).
Provided you can find a VBAC-friendly doctor- not all of them are.

Just like everyone else has said, it depends.
I had a c section with my first because he was posterior. I had no problems progressing, my body did everything it should have.
I’ve discussed with my dr (different one than with my first) and she’s allowing me to try for a vbac with #2 coming in April. I have my fingers/toes/arms/everything crossed that it works out for me and I get the delivery I want this time. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

You’ll have to talk to your doctor. There are plenty of women who successfully have vaginal birth after C-section. If you look into the data, you can break it down and get some sense of what your chances could be. Depending on the reason for the C-section, how many other children you’ve had, what kind of incision was made, how long ago it was, etc. the success rate can be anywhere from 10 to 90%. Overall, you’ usually hear something in the 70s cited, but that’s because a lot of people with a very low chance of success opt for a scheduled C-section instead.
