Non-domestic S/O

My previous S/O (married four years) has a vehement disregard for any kind of hygienic behavior, like any. He considers it all a huge waste of time. Fine. I doted on him for ten years and he has zero interest in ever doing it or people who do. I tried to avoid any of it like the plague to not annoy him, such to the point we had a horrible case of bed bugs that were biting his and my body all over. It was absolutely the most disgusting and humiliating experience and took days to sanitize. I can’t live like that, am I completely crazy? Like if he burns gas getting his junk food and cigarettes, am I a huge waste of life for spending 5 minutes a day cleaning before/after work, like washing the sheets, say three times a year? I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t completely off base.
