is it better to adopt or have ur own ?

so im very scared about getting pregnant due to my high anxiety and sensitive body ., im just thinking about adopting but doesn’t it take a while ?? 
idk what to do ... im getting older and i need to decide with my husband but he wants me to get pregnant and have our own but i don’t want that ..i’m 31 and still terrified

I think having on of your own is significantly more special because you feel the kicks and all the joys of pregnancy. but adopting also gives you the joy of giving a child a happy home. but it does take a while, my uncle was fostering two kids for two years before he was able to adopt them. why not do both? have one of your own and then adopt. my fiance wants to have two of our own and then adopt one.

adoption is also hard. hard on your mind and body (obviously in a different way than pregnancy). but it’s so worth it to give a child a home. what i’ll say about pregnancy is that yes, it’s hard. really hard. but you’ll get through it and it’s so worth it. so both are hard, but both are rewarding as well. not one option is better :)

there is no "better". adoption is lengthy and expensive, but so worth it to give children without a family, a family. if you don't want to have your own, then tell him just that. look into it, it can't hurt. if it's out of reach, then you can revisit having your own, or none at all.
