Have any of you mommy's put your baby in a front facing car seat?

I'm in Colorado and our law here is 1 years old or 20lbs. My girl absolutely HATES facing back and stretches her neck to look behind Her at us. Everything I read says keep them rear facing til 2 years old I'm just curious how many still moved them to forward facing car seats before 2.

I’m not super uptight about most things when it comes to my kid but I will keep him rear-facing as long as I possibly can. The extra risk of worse injury is enough for me.

I strapped a car mirror to the seat next to hers, so she can see stuff, and still be  as safe as possible! I understand the carseat struggle though...

Recommendations say 2 years minimum and, like everyone else who has commented so far, I will keep my LO rear-facing as long as it is recommended. 
My grandma used to put her arm out over us in her car when she came to sudden stops out of habit (we were wearing seat belts) for when she had lil ones and I can’t even imagine those days of no seat belts and using your arm to keep them safe.

Try looking up all the benefits and safety reasons for keeping them rear facing. It was enough to scare me into keeping my babe rear facing as long as possible.

I will wait as long as possible as I want to keep my baby as safe as possible for as long as possible. Babies are much safer rear facing. 
We have the Extend2Fit so hoping we make it to at least 3!

A lot of people ask if they can rear face because their 12 month old is “cramped” due to leg space.  My 12 month old is in the 98 percentile for height and she can stretch her legs out just fine.  We use a Graco 4ever and I believe that the right seat has a lot to do with how long you can rear face.  We are shooting for 4 years but will go at least 3.
