Okay so my 8 year old brother has a huge attitude problem! Spoiled beyond belief and runs the household. (Wish I was kidding) anyways yesterday he was suspended from school.. yes an 8 YEAR OLD was suspended! Apparently he didnt want to listen to his teacher so she took away his outside time and he told her he didnt have to listen to anyone and started screaming and throwing things, flipped his desk and kicked her! They had to evacuate his glass room for safety purposes. So he comes home and starts playing video games (which he does 24/7) and my mom just lets him. Then the day of his suspension she treated him like a damn prince letting him eat candy, watch tv, play video games and do whatever he wants! I can't even... this is so out of control. I guess my question is what would you do?

I’d take him to a doctor for evaluation. Kicking a teacher is more than just normal spoiled.

That boy needs to be disciplined and talked to about his behavior. That is not ok and acting out can be a sign of something wrong, such as feeling neglected (no rules is a form of neglect). At least he should be without his video games and have a lot of chores, as well as lines and being required to apologize to said teacher.

Ummmm?? What? Seriously. That’s a huge behavioral issue. 
My parents would have beat my ass black and blue if I ever thought about doing that. Sheesh.
He needs discipline that’s all I can say. I’m pro spanking, I highly doubt he has deep rooted behavioral problems.

B. He needs an evaluation by a third party therapist 
C. His parents need a parenting class and to read some parenting books
I’d suggest he has a legitimate issue OR he’s spoiled, entitled, lazy and a bully

He has some sort of anger issues.   Your mom and him need to sit down and speak to someone. your mom might think it's cute now,  but it won't be when she's bailing him out of jail by the time he's 16

I work with kids who have EBD (emotional behavioral difficulties) and his behavior sounds a lot like what I see regularly at work. His treatment at home certainly doesn’t help (the kids I work with are often MUCH worse when the parents don’t enforce anything), but it sounds like he’s more than just spoiled. Is the school doing evaluations or anything to get him in a special ed program? There are people at schools who can help with kids like him.
