Mom guilt. Anyone else feel it when they leave their LO with grandparents or whomever? 😭 I’m crying uncontrollably. She’s 13 months and never left my side until she was 7 months.

She’s so precious and I am missing out on moments (working mom). I also drop her off every once in a while if I’m super sick or just need a little break.

Leaving I'm fine but within an hour I'm like okay I need to get back.  My mom loves watching my son but I literally get anxiety being gone too long.

I used to but I also suffer from ppd so I'm on Meds now and go to therapy and that's why I don't feel guilty about it anymore.... it's typical for moms to feel guilty, but don't!!! :) she's beautiful!!!!

My eldest is in preschool and some times I’ll think “thank god tomorrow is a school day! I need a break!” Then I drop her off and can’t wait to pick her back up again!

I hated it to start. It was so hard. I'm a stay at home mom, but even giving my baby over for a few hours on the weekend felt terrible. I felt like I didn't deserve a break since I didn't 'work' and that she'd think I'd abandoned her.
Nope. She loves her Grandmama and her Granddanny, and her Gigi and Papa. I'm not abandoning her, I'm getting out of the way so that she can build loving and warm relationships with the people who care about her almost as much as I do. If I didn't get out of the way I might stunt that. 
I want her to have that support and love, So it's not selfish to let them care for her. It'd be selfish to keep her all to myself.
That line of thinking had helped me a lot. I hope you can find something that helps you similarly.

No not at all... I believe babies need to know their families.. generally I have noticed people who have large support system and families are happier and more content... I also read somewhere that babies who interact with loads of family turn out to be more confident and friendly toddlers... and besides my baby's grandmoms and grand pa loves her so dearly... so I don't... atleast I know she is with someone who will keep her safe fed happy and protected

Yes!! My girls are 5mons and I've only left them with my husband/their father for extended periods of time (no more than 5hrs). I left them with a friend for about 10min while I ran to the store and it was hard walking out the door. You are not alone. I think it's normal.

I am so close to being late everyday bc I keep finding reasons to not leave the babysitters house! The grandparents keep offering to babysit so we can have us time, but I can’t do it bc I hate leaving him. I so wish I could just stay home so I don’t miss things. Missed his first step because of work!
