kyleena side effects

hey! I'm 29 and had kyleena place right at a month ago. I have been on several different birth controls but they make me sick (oral and the patch). The kyleena is kind of my last option before I have surgery for endometriosis. I don't have time right now because I'm in my last semester of nursing school. But I've been spotting and on my period since ive had it placed and I still have cramps like when it was placed. I've researched it and the doctor also tells me that it will take time to adjust but I was curious if anyone has has the same issues and if so, how long did they last for?
