Anyone have the beats head phones??

So I bought mine and the cushion for the ear is coming off. Called Apple it’s going to be about 140 to fix.
What?!?!??
So I thought about buying the exact same pair and returning with the broken because I don’t have the box for it anymore.
But..... it has the serial number on it. Do they check? Ugh I don’t want to put out 140 more

When did you buy them? If you have the receipt or anything else that proves you bought it at a certain day you should definitely contact the store. A lot of audio products offer a warranty period and you usually don't need the original box when it's malfunction. And if that doesn't work I would try contact Beats right away. Those things are expensive and you may expect them to last.
