Today we had our first prenatal appointment and ultrasound! I found out I'm a week further along than I thought, making me 8 weeks pregnant! They did a regular ultrasound (not transvaginal), and we got to see and hear baby's heart beat (heart rate 164)! It was so surreal, and the fact that it was my husband's birthday made it even more magical! The ultrasound tech did mention she saw a little blood on the ultrasound, but the doctor said baby looks healthy, and not to worry about it unless I start bleeding heavily and cramping badly. 22nd, and though there may not be much to see on ultrasound yet, it was love at first sight regardless!
