Everyone is different! I got my period at 11 but I have a friend that didn't get hers until 17. If you get really concerned you can talk to a doctor but everyone is different!

Like a previous woman said here, nothing is really normal when It comes to periods. Someone who gets their period at 11 is no different than someone who doesn’t get It til 16. It has a lot to do with of course how your body is changing but also how many hormones you consume in your food, etc.. There is nothing to worry about.

“Normal” when it comes to periods is too subjective. Its more common that women get them earlier like 11-13, but theres nothing wrong with it being later than that! No need to worry!
