Clotting Curiosities

Hey babes. 22 yo, familiar with my period, but curiosity question.

Does anyone else have pain with tampons? It's not so much vaginal as it is abdominal. I have a heavy period the first day with clotting, normal with bad clotting for like 2-3 days, then spotting for a day or 2 and I'm done. Idk if it's just cause my clots don't pass good with tampons or what.

Also, is it normal to have pain around the clit when you have bad clotting??? It's pain like pressure, no swelling or anything but that's how it feels.
