No period but still mild cramping

I’m 8 days late for af. Currently on day 41 on my cycle. I’ve taken pregnancy tests every morning since and all negative. Is it possible to skip a period and still have cramps? They are really mild, barely there. it feels like I’m going to start af, but nothing... has this happened to anyone else??
